Welcome
The Members of the Trafford Ramblers give us a wide variety of experience of walks both local and slightly further afield. Showing us interesting areas in and around Greater Manchester and the adjacent countryside. Join us to meet new friends and enjoy inspiring walks in fresh areas as well as some old favourites.
After another succesful trip to Keswick in May last year we again will organise a trip to Ambleside, Lake District in 11-15 May 2026 with an evening meal on the 14th
In the meantime keep a close eye on our walks programme. As well as our regularThursday and Saturday walks additional walks on different days at different times may be added at short notice. All thanks to our enterprising walk leaders.

A really handy new guide with 28 circular walks you can reach by train, tram or bus. It covers all ten boroughs and takes in canals, river paths, mosslands and the edges of the Peak District - no car needed!
